Library card
You need a library card to borrow. You can become a borrower here on the website and collect the card at the library, or ask the library staff. Bring ID.
Your library card is personal. You are responsible for what is borrowed on it, so tell us straight away if you lose it.
Loan period and renewals
You borrow for 28 days and can have at most 50 loans at a time. When you borrow you are told the date to return by. If it falls when the library is closed, it moves to the next staffed day.
You can renew 2 times on My pages, at the library's self-service machines or with the staff, if nobody else has reserved what you have borrowed.
Reserve
If what you want is on loan you can reserve it when you search the catalogue. You get a message when it is ready for collection, and then you have 7 days to collect it.
Return
You can return items at any library in the municipality, wherever you borrowed them. You get a reminder before a loan is due if you have added your email address on My pages.
Fees
Returning late costs nothing. Please still return on time, so that others can borrow.
If something is lost or damaged you replace it.
If your unpaid fees are 100 kr or more, you cannot borrow until you have paid.
